Hunger kills.

     Ever expierenced the pain of being so hungry that you can eat garbage and it tastes like a paradise for you.?? Every 3.6 seconds someone out in the world dies of hunger. Believe it or not 40,000 children die of hunger or mal-nutrition everyday. They have no food access everywhere like we do. People around the world would kill just for food and some people especially in the united states don't even realize how blessed they are for all the food they have. There are many people dying of hunger out there. The country that is going through this big battleground right now is Haiti. It is the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere and eighty percent of its popuplation is under that poverty line,and because of all the frequent natural and socio-economic disasters its just going more down. In the past decade, these people have been through so much, the tremendous storms, desforestation, and topsoil loss, has lead some of the people in Haiti  to eat cookies of dirt with a little fat baked in the sun. But all the people of haiti have hope and together they will survive with everything they can. For us people in the united states we don't know what it is like to suffer and expierence hunger like this, that's why i have compassion for these people; And hopefully next time you think of throwing away some food you don't like, you think twice before you get rid of it. Together we will stop world hunger.

Light. . . what a beautiful creation

Light, giving life to the world, opening up a dark cave like a newborn coming out in the world for the first time, giving hope to all around us. The light looks like a simple jellyfish in the dark depths of the ocean.  Just that sparkle of light gives you the idea that there is nothing better to life than the light to see your own world. Just imagining that the blind can never expierence this marvelous creation of light, going day through day in the darkness of their world.  

Soccer.

Whoever invented soccer should be worshipped as a God. The actual game were it is fun to get hit in the face with the ball. Those girls in the team mean the world to me, after a bad day,I go out there and kick the ball with them, all my problems go away. It's my medicine for everything. Of course there's drama in the team but we all solve it by playing the game.We all learn to love eachother like the sisters we are. And the coaches.? Don't even get me started,what would life be without them.? We might not be the best but we sure put all of our best into it. With all of our hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all love, we will succeed. It started out as a simple sport, ended up meaning a way of life for me.
